update 03/02/10 =>News =>Dumbaï's babies are 7 weeks old !!
Three in France (Early Dingaroo, Eden Dingaroo, Ebony Dingaroo), two in Holland (El Lobo Dingaroo, Eska Dingaroo) et one in Québec( El Lycan Dingaroo), we can say smiling that our pups have a mondial success!!
it was a marvellous aventure, ten weeks with our babies!!! Here some pictures of these unforgettable ans joyful moments ...
8 weeks old.
7 weeks old.
All the Babies trot outside. We have "mixed" all our dogs, Dumbaï is OK with Kari and Di Loula (the "U'Cursinu" bitch) around her pups.
5 and 6 weeks old.
4 weeks old.
Someone gave us a young lama... We can't approach him, and he don't stay in any electric fence because of his wooden coat... Everyday, Kari helps us to bring Sisco back from the valley where he likes to stay, to the bottom of the mountain where our horses are fenced in. We hope he will accept them, and finally stay with them... Kari is a real partner, he understands all our needs and is very quiet... Video link of this daily exercise : Kari berger des Andes
On April 27 - 28, 2008, Greet et Theo v.d. Veerdonk came in our mountains, they are the owners of the greetest kelpie breeding in Europe : Kelpiebrink. They brought their female Otje so that Kari covered her.
It was the first time for Kari, but he was full of enthousiasm !

Some photos of these two days : Greet and Theo appreciated our mountains, and they were joyful to meet again Little Dumbaï ( they are her breeders).
7 little Kelpies, 5 mâles et 2 females are born on June 28, 2008. They are black and chocolate.
A few months later, we can see that the pups are more or less marked by one of the parents : they sometimes inherited Kari's framework, his character less dominating, his double hair and his expression. Otje sometimes transmitted her slimer morphology and her burning sheepdog temperament. The owners grant to say that they are all lovely pups, affectionate and full of life. Here, by alphabetical order : Cari (Italy Female), Coda (Male Holland), Diesel (Male Belgium), Djemba (Male France), Murphy (Male Switzerland), Shadow (Holland Female) and Yarran (Male Holland). Thank you everybody for the photographs that you sent to us.
We can thus notice, if we trust this first litter, that Kari has a real genetic influence on his offspring.
As here anything is flat, we decided to let us help by our Kelpies in our daily tasks : harnessed here with the wheelbarrow charged with the rations of the horses. They put at it sometimes such a heart that we have to run not to slow down the impulse !
